    Streszczenie
The article is devoted to the actual problem of increasing the efficiency of autonomous individual heating units of
residential buildings based on the authors' proposed new multi-circuit shell-and-tube heat exchangers with an accumulator
tank. Their basic design parameters are calculated depending on the set stationary temperature regimes. A one-dimensional
dynamic model of heat exchange processes, which is simplified relative to the Navier-Stokes equation, is suggested to clarify
the basic design parameters, as well as a simulation system based on SolidWorks, which allows a wide range of thermal
processes modelling with graphical interpretation of the results. Their application makes it possible to improve the design
parameters of multi-circuit shell-and-tube heat exchangers with an accumulator tank, considering the features of operating an
individual heating unit of a particular residential building.
