The article presents studies on the quality of the combustion process of low power boiler through the use of ceramic catalysts in the boiler combustion chamber. For the tests was used automatic solid fuel low power boiler type Vulcanus Plus. As part of the research, ceramic catalysts inserts were placed in the boiler to created an combustion chamber. In addition, the ceramic catalyst system has been adjusted that the entire combustion chamber is made with catalysts. As the research was used fuel type black coal. Tests were performed for the boiler in the standard version and with installed catalysts. The obtained results show that the use of catalysts has improved the quality of the combustion process without significantly affecting the boiler's thermal performance. The studies don’t take exhaust the issue of the influence of ceramic catalysts on the quality of the combustion process in the low power boiler, which encourages further development of the topic.
